L&R Group of Companies, Inc. ("L&R"), headquartered in Los Angeles, California is a privately held, well-capitalized organization that owns and operates parking facilities throughout the United States. L&R has grown into one of the largest parking property owners in the nation, operating two distinct parking divisions: WallyPark and Joe's Auto Parks.

 

We are looking for an exceptional HR candidate for a Generalist position supporting an employee base of over 300 employees at our LAX, S an Diego and S eattle locations. In order to be considered for this role you must have a Bachelor's degree and experience working in a similar role. Bi-lingual (English-Spanish) preferred.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor Degree in HR Management, Business, or related field required.
  • 2 years of progressive human resource generalist experience, in both union and non-union environments
  • Microsoft Office Suite/ PC literacy
  • Bi-Lingual English-Spanish preferred.
  • ADP/HRB Self-Service implementation and iCims experience a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Strong working knowledge of all federal, state and local labor laws – with emphasis on California state laws.
  • Support operations by aligning and executing HR strategies, as well as, company policies and procedures
  • Be a strategic and tactical contributor by implementing comprehensive, practical human resource solutions to the leaders and associates in field operations.
  • Provide resolution for employee complaints, create preventive solutions and participate in responding to claims related to Unemployment, EEOC, Workers Compensation and OSHA.
  • Ability to carry out company operational procedures and practices.
  • Drive and foster positive team member relations through proactive roundtable formats, engagement surveys, and location action plans; ensure increased retention and reduced turnover aligned to company needs.
  • Knowledge of current HR trends and issues.
